 A Gold Coast man has made a fortune collecting shopping trolleys.

What started as a job as a 16-year-old has led to a business and a luxurious mansion for Jason Woodbridge.

"I used to watch all my friends out partying and I'd be driving a trolley tractor around the shopping centre," Mr Woodbridge said.

Gold Coast's Hollywood Showgirls nightclub operator charged with stealing mobile phone

 Gold Coast nightclub owner Craig Duffy has been charged with stealing after an alleged incident between the glitter strip entrepreneur and a body corporate member outside his Surfers Paradise strip club, Hollywood Showgirls. Mr Duffy — a former Australian pool champion — will front the Southport Magistrates Court on September 7 after being charged with stealing a mobile phone on August 12.
