Gold Coast's Hollywood Showgirls nightclub operator charged with stealing mobile phone

 Gold Coast nightclub owner Craig Duffy has been charged with stealing after an alleged incident between the glitter strip entrepreneur and a body corporate member outside his Surfers Paradise strip club, Hollywood Showgirls. Mr Duffy — a former Australian pool champion — will front the Southport Magistrates Court on September 7 after being charged with stealing a mobile phone on August 12. Man killed in horror crane accident on northern Gold Coast

 Upon arrival, they found a man aged in his 40s suffering critical ‘crush injuries’. Despite their desperate attempts to save him, the man could not be revived and died at the scene. Man dies after being struck by crane at Gold Coast swimming pool business

 A man has died after being hit by a crane at a swimming pool business on the northern Gold Coast. Emergency services were called to Narellan Pools at Stapylton about 12.30pm, where the man, aged in his 40s, had been struck by a 12-tonne crane in the loading dock.
