 On paper this was an innocuous midseason fixture, but there was plenty of context behind Gold Coast’s solitary visit to the MCG for 2021. And it ends with Collingwood and Nathan Buckley, already besieged by negative headlines, staring down the barrel of another week on the back pages. The Suns were well worth their 24-point victory. After a conservative opening quarter they took the game on and dominated the corridor of Collingwood’s home track. Their key backs were towering, onballers industrious and brave, and forward line mobile and assertive. 2021 Aston Martin V12 Speedster revealed

 Aston Martin has revealed its new special edition two-seater V12 Speedster DBR1, which pays tribute to the company’s 1959 Le Mans winning machine. The DBR1 racer was one of the company’s most successful, winning several marque events including the Le Mans 24 Hours and the Nurburgring 1000km races. Young boy hit by car on the Gold Coast

 A young boy has suffered head injuries after being hit by a car in Burleigh Waters. It’s understood the boy, who is reportedly around seven years of age, was riding his bike when he collided with the vehicle at the intersection of Bermuda Street and Christine Avenue just after 6pm on Sunday. Paramedics, including critical care, were called to the scene and the boy was treated briefly for a head injury before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
